MÊRDÎN - Following the curfew imposed in rural neighborhoods of Stewrê district, house raids were conducted. It is learned that 3 people have been detained so far.
Curfew was declared in rural Barman (Yeşilalan) and Elfan (Pinardere) neighborhoods of Stewrê (Savur) district of Mêrdîn (Mardin). Following the decision taken by Mardin Governorate, house raids were carried out in the early hours of the morning in both neighborhoods. Gendarmerie special operations blockaded the villages and then raided the houses accompanied by dogs.
VILLAGERS WERE THREATENED
Despite the reactions, houses were searched with dogs and citizens were threatened. It is learned that Mehmet Erdem, M. Hüseyin Günay and Ali Günay were detained in the raids in Barman Quarter.
