Speaking at the public meeting within the scope of "Social Peace and Freedom Meetings", DBP Co-Chair Cigdem Kilicgun Ucar called on all political parties, intellectuals and writers to have a say and practice on the Kurdish issue.

Speaking at the public meeting, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said, "As long as the Kurdish issue is not solved under the leadership of Mr Öcalan, everywhere is struggle and resistance for us." DBP Co-Chair Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar said, "The solution is clear, open the gates of İmralı and ensure the freedom of Mr Öcalan."
DEM Party council members who were prevented from entering the municipality after the appointment of a trustee to Êlih Municipality said that they will resist against the trustee policies.
DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, recall Abdullah Öcalan's message on the solution of the Kurdish issue and said: "We believe that the time has come and the ground has been created. This historical opportunity should be utilised on the right basis."
DEM Party's proposal to provide Kurdish language service on aeroplanes and free internet to homes was rejected by AKP-MHP votes.
Speaking at her party's women's group meeting, DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları drew attention to violence against women and said, “We can cope with this by organizing and fighting. We have no other option other than that.”
Speaking in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit said: “Realizing that it will lose its seat, AKP has once again made a coup against the will of the people.” Sezai Temelli called for a united struggle against unlawful acts such as isolation and trusteeships.
IYI Party Chair Musavvat Dervişoğlu threatened by saying “You will be treated the same way the Republican state treated Sheikh Sait.”
DEM Party and CHP MPs unfurled banners reading “Trusteeship is a coup against the will of the people” at the Parliament's Plan and Budget Commission.
Speaking at the party congress in Serêkaniyê, DEM Party deputy Ömer Öcalan said: “We will protect our language and our leader everywhere.”
Commenting on the photo taken by the ruling party on the Malazgirt anniversary as “a photo of threat”, DEM Party Co-Chair Tulay Hatimoğulları said: “Together with the forces of democracy, we can break the dirty alliance that has been brought together in that photo.”
Evaluating the agenda in the Parliament, DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli pointed out the racist attacks against refugees in Kayseri and Kurds in Muğla, and pointed out the policies of the government and the opposition and said: "These seeds of discrimination planted in society appear before us with lynching attacks against people."
In the latest meeting of the DEM Party's Central Executive Committee, it was decided to launch a "Bread and Justice" campaign and to establish a commission for a "Democracy Alliance."
