RIHA- Addressing the parliament and political parties, DBP Co-chair Keskin Bayındır said: "We call on eveyone to take responsibility to create the framework for the legal and constitutional solution of the denied Kurdish issue."

"Democratic Solution and Freedom March" from Amed (Diyarbakır) to Ankara within the scope of the campaign "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, democratic solution to the Kurdish issue" started yesterday under the leadership of the Democratic Institutions Platform. The march is in Riha (Urfa) on its second day. The marchers, including Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-chairs Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, arrived in Riha's Sêwereg (Siverek) district in the morning. The merchers were welcomed by a crowd and then moved on to Cûrnê Reş (Hilvan). The marchers were also welcomed here and then met at Ali Şelli Park.

During the march, which was attended by a large number of people, lollipops with the slogans "Yes to the solution, no to liquidation", "Berxwedan jiyan e (Resistance is life), "We insist on the solution, we will win", "We believe in theoretical and practical power", "Jin, jiyan, azadî (Woman, life, freedom)", "Continue resistance, salute to freedom", "Em rênadin talan ê (We will not tolerate theft)" and "Isolation continues" were carried. People gathered in front of the banner "Democratic solution march" and chanted "Bijî berxwedana Rojava (Long live resistance of Rojava), "Everywhere Rojava, Everywhere resistance", "Bijî berxwedana gelê me (Long live resistance of our people)", "Jin, jiyan, azadî". The police did not allow the march and the statement was made inside the park.

'YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE RESULTS'

DBP Co-chair Keskin Bayındır said: "Our march is for a democratic solution, but they constantly put obstacles in our way. You cannot prevent our will and our mach. Until today, you have not been able to achieve any results with obstacles. After Assad fled in Syria and Rojava, a worl war started in the Middle East. This war is coming here day by day. The center of this war is our lands. But they want to destroy the will of the Kurdish people who resist for freedom and peace with gangs. They should know that this people will not accept your politics. The key to peace in Rojava and Syria is the path of unity. There is a status in Rojava that includes all peoples. If you try to trample on this status, then your aim is enmity. For 13 years the Syrian Democratic Administration has been giving you messages of coexistence and declaring that they want peace. But Turkey is starting a war with the hands of ISIS gangs. These days they are announcing that they are preparing for an attack on Rojava. Do not prepare for war and occupation, but prepare for peace with the Kurdish people and the recognition of the status there.”

CALL FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF PARLIAMENT

The government constantly gives war messages said Bayındır and added: "The whole world recognizes the status of Rojava, but this government emphasizes war and does not recognize the status. Kurds are one and will fight for their status. We will resist against these occupation policies. There is a way to a solution and this way is Mr. Öcalan. With his politics, mentality and foresight, Mr. Öcalan is the only one who can stop this war. This march is a march for solution and peace. Do not stand in front of this. We call on the Parliament, all parties and MPs who have a group. We call on Parliament to convene an extraordinary and historic meeting for the solution of the Kurdish issue with all its power. We call on everyone to take responsibility to create the framework for the legal and constitutional solution of the denied Kurdish issue and to solve it. ”

'WE OFFER THE KEY TO THE SOLUTION'

Then TJA Activist Çağlar Demirel said: "The sun of Riha is warming Rojava and everywhere today. We see the war and the situation developing in Syria. As women, we offer the address of the solution. We will never allow the attack on the women's revolution. Our struggle will continue wherever we are. The status and women's revolution in Rojava is an example for the whole world. We will develop our women's struggle with the philosophy of 'Jin, jiyan, azadî'. Our march offers a way to solve the Kurdish issue. Everyone knows who the addressee is. Mr Öcalan is the addressee of the solution and we expect steps to be taken for his physical freedom. The isolation against Mr Öcalan is still continuing. Open the doors of İmralı and ensure the physical freedom of Mr Öcalan. Let us achieve peace in Rojava and spread it to the whole Middle East.

After the statement, the marchers went to Riha Bar Association for the public meeting.
