MALATYA- Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been imprisoned for more than 5 years, was not released in the lawsuit filed against the Şenyaşar family. The Şenyaşar family is expected to carry the sit-in action to Ankara.

The 2nd hearing of the case, which combines the "workplace" and "hospital" files, regarding the massacre perpetrated against the Şenyaşar family by the bodyguard and relatives of former AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on  June 14 2018 in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha. He was seen in the High Criminal Court.

Lawyers from Riha and Dilok branches of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD), Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party) Riha MPs Ferit Şenyaşar, Ömer Ömer. Öcalan, Dilan Kunt Ayan, Riha Bar Association President Abdullah Öncel and regional bar association representatives attended. Yıldız and Şimşek family relatives attempted to attack Emine Şenyaşar in the courtroom. The gendarmes in the courtroom intervened and prevented the attack. While the Şenyaşar family and their lawyers, Yıldız and Şimşek family and their lawyers are present in the courtroom, Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been imprisoned in Elazığ Prison for more than 5 years, and the detained defendants Enver Yıldız, Mekail Şimşek and Celal Yıldız, are joined the hearing from the prisons where they are held via Audio and Visual İnformation System (SEGBİS).

THE COURT REJECTED THE RELEASE OF FADIL ŞENYAŞAR

The court rejected the request for the arrest of those who were tried without arrest, decided to evaluate the request to hear Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, the Minister of Food and Agriculture at the time, in the next hearing, and decided to continue the detention of Fadıl Şenyaşar and Enver Yıldız on the grounds of "strong criminal suspicion" and Celal Yıldız and Mekail Şimşek on the grounds of "lack of evidence collection".

CONDEMNATION FROM ŞENYAŞAR

While the court board decided to postpone the next hearing to October 6, Emine Şenyaşar condemned the decision by saying, "How is this justice, there is no state, there is no justice."

THE DEMONSTRATION IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TO ANKARA

Ferit Şenyaşar, who made a statement at the sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse on July 16, stated that they would bring the sit-in action before the Ministry of Justice in Ankara, even though there was no decision that would ease their conscience in the trial of the case in Malatya.
