NEWS CENTER - HPG announed that Turkey's attacks with chemical weapons continued despite the ceasefire and two of its members lost their lives.
Despite the ceasefire declared by the PKK on 1 March, Turkey's attacks on Metina, Zap and Avaşin areas of the Federated Kurdistan Region continue.
According to Fırat News Agency (ANF), which published the HPG's statement on the attacks, chemical weapons and banned explosives were used in these attacks. In the ongoing attacks, chemical weapons were used against the tunnels in Gire Cudi Resistance Area of Martys Delil West Zap region on 11 April, and it was announced in the statement that 2 HPG members lost their lives and their identities will be announced later.
The statement added that the tunnels in Gire Amediye Resistance Area were bombed twice with banned explosives on 24 and 26 April and Bahar Resistance Area was bombed twice with warplanes on 24 and 25 April.
It was stated that One thousand 164 attacks were carried out against the Federated Kurdistan Region with heavy weapons such as howitzers and artillery.
