WAN - Speaking at the final rally in Wan, Pervin Buldan, member of the İmralı delegation, said, "Mr Öcalan sent special greetings to our peace mothers and the people of Wan. He said 'I respect the will that made 14 in 14'."

The final rally organised by the Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) in Wan (Van) with the slogan "We revolt against the massacre of women, we march to freedom" continued with speeches. After Koma Vejîn took the stage, Pervin Buldan, member of the Imrali Delegation of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party, spoke.

Pervin Buldan started her speech by congratulating the women's day and said, "We once again condemn this mentality that has been trying to suppress women's struggle for equality and freedom for years and that does not see their labour. I bring you the message of Mr Abdullah Öcalan to the people of Wan, whose will has been usurped. This 8 March is a different 8 March. It is the evaluation and call made by Mr Öcalan for women that marked this 8 March, which we all welcomed with great enthusiasm and excitement as a whole with the process initiated with its excitement and spirit."

Pervin Buldan said that great pain has been experienced and great prices have been paid in this geography for years and added, "We have fought hard for years to pave the way for democratic politics. Of course, the path to democratic politics cannot be paved by usurping the will of a province. Everyone has to show this sensitivity. We all have expectations, we alll expect steps to be taken in line with these expectations. There is a sensitivity to guarantee this process with the urgent enactment of laws, the creation of a framework, the enactment of reforms and packages. As soon as possible, but as soon as possible, these framework laws and democratisation packages must be enacted, these laws that the society expects and the peoples expect."

SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM ÖCALAN TO WAN

Expressing that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan sent a special message to the peace mothers and the people of Wan, "Mr Öcalan also sent a special greeting to our peace mothers and the people of Wan. Öcalan sai, 'I respect the will that made 14 in 14'" said Pervin Buldan and added, "Both sides should be careful about the sensitivity of this process. With Turks and Kurds, we need to protect this process so that it can lead to peace. We are in a process where neither a Turk nor a Kurd should lose their life anymore. We have to support this process hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder with Turks and Kurds. We have to stand by Mr Öcalan and support the process. We have to evolve this process into a peace process. This is what we expect from the people of Wan. No one should have any question marks, concerns or doubts. Everyone should know that Mr Öcalan will do no wrong and everyone should know Mr Öcalan well."
