NEWS CENTRE - Due to the attacks of Turkey and its affiliated groups, 60 villages in Gre Spi and Ain Issa cannot be supplied with electricity.
Turkey and its paramilitary groups continue their attacks on North and East Syria. In the attacks that cause casualties, centres providing electricity and water are also targeted.
According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA), 60 villages in the countryside of Gire Spi and Ain Issa cannot be supplied with electricity due to the attacks. Id al-Salame, the head of Ain Issa Electricity Centre, stated that Turkey bombed the area around Ain Issa Electricity Station several times last week.
Al-Salame said that 60 villages in Gire Spi and Ain Issa have been without electricity for more than 10 days and added, "40 villages in the towns of Al Jirin, Qizezli, Al Huriya and Dinayi in Gire Spi and 20 villages in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa are without electricity."
Id al-Salame noted that due to the ongiong attacks, electricity workers could not reach the damaged areas and could not make repairs.
The villages are also experiencing drinking water shortages as water stations cannot be supplied with electricity due to the power outage.
