NEWS CENTER - YNK Leader Bafil Talabani criticized KDP policies without mentioning any names and stated that the party, which has ruled the region for many years, has sold Kurdistan lands to Kurdish enemies.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK) Chair Bafil Jalal Talabani made a statement on the launch of the election campaign for the Parliament of the Federated Kurdistan Region.
In his statement, Bafil Talabani stated that the administration of the Federated Kurdistan Region has been in the hands of a party for many years and that this party has sold the territory of the region to the enemies of the Kurds and Kurdistan. Bafil Talabani stated that the people want peace and said that drones (UCAVs) should no longer fly in the sky.
'OUR PEOPLE MUST FIND PEACE NOW'
Without naming the KDP, Bafil Talabani said in his statement: “The party that has held the Kurdistan Region Administration for a long time has sold the Kurdistan Region territory to the enemies of the Kurds and Kurdistan. Our people must now find peace. Drones use our airspace every day to slaughter our citizens and no one speaks out against it.”
'THE REGION USED TO BE RESPECTED'
Talabani went on to say that the party in power does not allow Baghdad to send the salaries of its employees. Stating that in the past Kurdistan was an example for the region in terms of freedoms and was highly respected at the international level, Talabani said that today we are living in the days when writers and journalists are arrested and accused of terrorism for their writings and articles. Bafil Talabani said that no city in the Federated Kurdistan Region is separate or different from the others and that the people should believe in this situation.
