ANKARA - Emine Şenyaşar, who continues her “justice” protest in Parliament, was prevented from entering the building where the DEM Party Group is located.
Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered and one son was arrested on June 14, 2018 in an attack by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, continued her Justice Watch at the Parliament on its 29th day.
Mother Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who is a DEM Party MP, organized a press conference at the Parliament. The Şenyaşars then tried to go to the building where the DEM Party Group is located. The police officers on duty at the Parliament prevented the Şenyaşars from passing. The police officers said that a decision had been taken to prevent the mother Şenyaşar's entry and therefore they would not allow her to enter. The police officers did not specify from whom the order came.
'LET THE WHOLE TURKEY SEE'
Mother Şenyaşar reacted to the situation by sitting at the turnstiles. Ferit Şenyaşar said: “As an MP elected by the people, I will pass to my group but we are being prevented. Arbitrary instructions are given here. They do not say from whom they receive instructions. This instruction is against the law. Let the whole Turkey and the whole world see what is happening here.”
Şenyaşar family continued their sit-in protest at the place where they were blocked.
