Uncle Sami Güran was detained in the investigation into the disappearance of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Çulî neighborhood of Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed (Diyarbakır). Sami Güran, who is also the mukhtar, was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the police station.

 

Güran, whose statement was taken by the prosecutor's office, was referred to the Criminal Judicature of Peace with the request for arrest on the grounds that “DNA samples of Narin Güran were found in his vehicle and he made contradictory statements”.
