NEWS CENTER - In the "Speak up for freedom" protests held in many cities, a call was made to meet the demands of the prisoners protesting for the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Prisoner relatives are taking action to end the absolute isolation that has been going on for 39 months for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, to ensure his freedom and to solve the Kurdish issue. In this context, "Speak up for freedom" protests were held in Wan, Adana, Mersin and Mêrdin.
While the emphasis is on ending the isolation during the protests, the Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) was reminded of its responsibilities.
