MERSİN - DEM Party Mersin Deputy Ali Bozan stated that the police chief, against whom they objected on the grounds of "imaginary voters", is conducting investigations into the objections.
People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) objected to the people who were transferred to Mersin's Akdeniz district before the March 31 local elections. DEM Party also found that the records of AKP's Akdeniz Mayor Mustafa Gultak and Akdeniz District Police Chief Ebubekir Fil had previously appeared in a different district, but they transferred their records to Akdeniz before the upcoming local elections. DEM Party demanded that the issue in question be investigated in its application.
The District Election Board sent a letter to the police to investigate the names in the application. In the investigation carried out by the police, the signature of Ebubekir Fil, against whom the "fake voter" objection was made, was included.
'THE OBJECTION WAS MADE AT THE TABLE'
DEM Party Mersin Deputy Ali Bozan, one of the names involved in the objection process, evaluated what happened. Bozan stated that they could not get any results regarding the objections they made to the District Election Board regarding AKP's Akdeniz Municipality Mayor Mustafa Gultak bringing "suspicious voters" to the district. Pointing out that there were also applications from other parties regarding the voter transfer, Bozan said that the objections were still not concluded and no investigation was carried out properly.

Stating that they requested the gendarmerie and the Election Board to carry out the voter transportation investigation because the District Police Chief Fil and his family moved from another district to Akdeniz, Bozan said: "Now, according to the results we have received from the election boards, Akdeniz District Police Chief Ebubekir personally responded to all the answers to the letters. It has Fil's signature. The person to whom we personally objected regarding the irregular voter transportation is also conducting the investigation."
MHP ALSO OBJECTED
Pointing out that Akdeniz District Police Chief Fil was among the objections made by MHP on January 16, Bozan stated that Fil signed the investigation prepared regarding both Fil and his family as "living in the Akdeniz". Bozan said: “We stated that Akdeniz District Police Chief Fil and his family were 'fake voters' and that they carried voters illegally. MHP thinks the same thing as us today and has made an official application on this issue."
LEGAL ATTEMPTS WILL CONTINUE
Stating that AKP also objected to the District Election Board for 191 people on January 17, Bozan also evaluated the statement made by AKP Mersin Deputy Ali Kıratlı in the Parliament, "DEM Party moved 5 thousand 500 irregular voters".
Bozan said: “This is a lie told to millions by the AKP District Organization on the one hand and Kıratlı on the other. We have stated and called before; Either prove your claim, or apologize and resign."
