NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike action in prisons demanding "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" is on its 37th day.
The hunger strike action launched in prisons to demand the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is held in isolation in İmralı Type F High Security Closed Prison and has not been heard from for 34 months, continues on its 37th day.
Prisoners started a hunger strike on November 27 as part of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign. The action will continue until February 15, 2024.
