NEWS CENTER - After the increase in military losses in the clashes in Xakûrkê, Metîna and Zap, the infrastructure of Northern and Eastern Syrian cities was once again targeted with warplanes.
Clashes continue in the Zap, Avaşîn, Metina and Xakûrkê regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region. On December 22-23, heavy work took place in the region. The Ministry of Defense announced that 6 soldiers lost their lives and 7 soldiers were injured in the clashes in Xakûrkê on December 22. It was announced that on December 24, a conflict broke out in Metina, 6 soldiers lost their lives and 6 soldiers were injured.
As the conflicts intensified, the cities of Northern and Eastern Syria were targeted once again, as before. Warplanes targeted many points in Tirbêspiyê and Dêrik. The petrol station and power plant were also among the bombed areas.
THE STATEMENT FROM GÜLER
Making a statement after the attacks, Defense Minister Yaşar Güler announced the 2-day balance sheet. Güler said: "The organization's mobility has been brought to an end. The operations will continue uninterruptedly. 25 PKK members were 'neutralized' in the clashes."
HPG STATEMENT: 67 SOLDIERS LOST THEIR LIVES
A statement regarding the balance sheet of the clashes that broke out on December 22-23 also came from HPG. In the statement published by Fırat News Agency (ANF), it was stated that 27 soldiers lost their lives in Xakûrkê and the hill where the soldiers were was "controlled". It was also stated that many weapons and military equipment were confiscated. In the statement, it was stated that 9 soldiers lost their lives in the clashes in Metina.
