ADANA - Emphasizing that they will continue their actions until PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom is achieved, 28-year prisoner Erhan Kaya called on all segments to "support our actions".
Prisoners in prisons in Turkey and Kurdistan started a rotating hunger strike on November 27 as part of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign. Prisoners in Kayseri No. 2 Type T Closed Prison, where the hunger strike continues, continue their actions on a 5-day rotation basis.
Erhan Kaya (53), a prisoner for 28 years, called on all parties to support the action. Kaya said: "The prisoners in Kayseri Prison are involved in the 'Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue' campaign and will continue their actions until their demands are met."
