An individual application was made to the Constitutional Court (AYM) for the second time for Gezi Trial imprisoner Can Atalay, who was elected Hatay MP from the Turkish Workers' Party (TİP) in the May 14 elections.
In the application, it was emphasized that the right to immunity was violated for the second time by not implementing the Constitutional Court decision, and Atalay's release was requested.
The 3rd Chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeals did not release Can Atalay despite the decision of the Constitutional Court (AYM) regarding the violation of his rights. The Supreme Court, which did not implement the Constitutional Court decision, announced that it would file a criminal complaint against the Constitutional Court members.
