DİYARBAKIR- The health condition of prisoner Halise Aksoy, whose body was sent by cargo, is getting worse. Lawyer Necat Çiçek stated that there was no concrete evidence in his client's file and said that he should be released.
The health condition of 56-year-old Halide Aksoy, who was detained on April 25 during the operations carried out in 21 provinces as part of the Amed-based investigation, and arrested on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization", is getting worse. Halise Aksoy, who was remembered by the cargo of her son Agit İpek, who lost her life in a conflict in Dersim, was arrested and put in Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison. Aksoy, who has many health problems with blood pressure, diabetes, heart and diabetes, is also prevented from going to the hospital in prison. Hadi Aksoy stated that his brother's health condition deteriorated, while his lawyer Necat Çiçek drew attention that there was no concrete evidence in the file and said that his client should be released.
THERE IS A RISK OF LOSING HER EYE
Stating that his sister's health problems worsened in prison conditions, Brother Hadi Aksoy said: "My sister had diabetes and blood pressure problems and that she had undergone surgery twice before. She was at risk of losing her eye and she was taken to the hospital twice during the prison period. When taking her to the hospital, the prison administration wants to handcuff her backwards even though she says she is sick. Since the tears are constantly flowing, they have to be wiped constantly. Even walking at that point, there is no chance to see. Going to and from the hospital also comes to the point of torture. The disease has caught up with her and the prison conditions do not allow it. Why he was arrested is also meaningless because she has no guilt. We do not know why she is currently in prison. She should be released immediately because her illness is really bad. There is no evidence and no crime.”
AKSOY HAS A HEART DISEASE
Stating that there was no concrete evidence in the arrest of his client, Aksoy's lawyer, Necat Çiçek said: "There was still a confidentiality decision in the file, and that only the statements of the open witness Ümit Akbıyık. My client, who has been detained for more than two years, was hospitalized on June 19 and 23. She had a heart condition during the hospitalization process on 19 June. Aksoy had a very bad heart due to heart disease. We also evaluated the possibility of having a heart attack. We also removed the documents showing that Aksoy has diabetes. When we objected to the Criminal Court of Peace, we submitted those documents. Despite that, it was decided to continue the detention.”
