ISTANBUL - Police raided HDP Şişli District Office at night.
Police raided the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şişli District Office last night. During the raid, which was carried out when no one was present, the police broke the doors of the representative office and entered.
As the justification for the raid, in which a search was made for about 3 hours, the notice stating that "pirate demonstrations will be held" was put forward; Books, pennants and banners were confiscated.
On the other hand, HDP Şişli District Co-Chair Ali Bal was summoned to testify at the prosecutor's office regarding the raid.
