ISTANBUL- The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that they are concerned about the regions that could not be heard after the earthquakes.
After the earthquake, the epicenter of which was Maraş and Gaziantep and affecting 10 cities, statements from international institutions and organizations continue. In the statement made by the Health Organization (WHO), it was stated that they were concerned about the situation in the regions that could not be heard due to the earthquake.
‘THE TRAUMA TREATMENT MAY BE NEEDED’
Speaking to Reuters, the WHO Spokesperson said: "National authorities will now focus on search and rescue. We expect an increased need for trauma care to treat the injured and support the entire health system in earthquake-affected areas."
