ANKARA - Stating that she was arrested before she could complete her scientific work, TTB President Şebnem Korur Fincancı said that she will continue to contribute to the truth.
Şebnem Korur Fincancı, President of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), who was arrested for scientific statements she made due to Turkey's chemical weapons attacks, sent a message from the Sincan Women's Closed Prison. Fincancı stated in the message shared by the TTB that her scientific studies could not be completed due to her detention, and that she would continue to do so in prison and continue to shed light on the truth.
Fincancı's message is as follows: "While I was in preparation for a detailed information about our scientific evaluation application, including the algorithm, I unfortunately encountered the detention and detention process before I could complete it. In order to complete this scientific work, I asked my colleagues for existing UN guidelines and scientific resources. As soon as it arrives, I will complete this work and share it with you. I hope that such an algorithm, which will shed light on the ways of tracking the truth, will contribute to those who are criminalized in pursuit of truth like us in the future. Keep following me."
