URFA - Criticizing the media that ignores their demonstrations and sharing the message, Şenyaşar family said: "If everyone keeps silent in the face of oppression and injustice, they should know that we will not be silent".
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 572. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. The family continued their sit-in at their home in Suruç, as the courthouse was closed at the weekend.
Condemning Anadolu Agency's (AA) ignoring their demonstrations, the family shared the message on their social media account: "If everyone is silent in the face of oppression and injustice, they know that we will not be silent. Anyone who says they are human should not remain silent if there is oppression. AA (Anadolu Agency) came to the courthouse for the news stories; it has not seen the mother who has demanded justice for 572 days”.
