ANKARA - HDP will take to the streets in the cities it is organised tomorrow in solidarity with the demonstrations that started after the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini. HDP Women's Council Spokesperson Başaran said: "We will shout together that freedom of women will bring the freedom of society."
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) will protest the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini, who was murdered in Iran on grounds that a piece of her hair showed under her hijab, and will make statements in support of public outcry in Iran. In this context, the provincial organisations of the party will make a joint statement at 13.00 tomorrow.
A message of solidarity with the peoples who oppose the impositions of the Iranian regime will be given in the program carried out by the HDP Women's Council and Organising Commission. The HDP, together with 51 cities and more than 400 provincial and district organisations, will protest the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini tomorrow and emphasize the struggle against impositions of the governments.
HDP Women's Council Spokesperson Ayşe Acar Başaran made an assessment to the Mesopotamia Agency (MA) about the demonstrations they will be carrying out tomorrow and said that the picture emerging in Iran is a reflection of the impositions of male-dominated systems.
