Iraqi Joint Operations Command: Turkey carried out the attack

NEWS CENTER - Iraq Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Abdulemir Şemeri announced that the massacre in Zakho was carried out by Turkey with 155 mm artilleries.
 
A special session is being held in the Iraqi Parliament on the attack carried out by Turkey on the picnic area in the village of Perex of Zaxo, in which 9 people were killed. Iraqi Chief of General Staff, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Abdulemir Şemeri attended the session.
 
Stating that Turkey carried out the attack with 155 mm artilleries, Şemeri said: “We brought the remains of the bombardment to Baghdad. After the investigations, it was revealed that the attack was organized by the Turkish state. The artilleries shot was fired from a distance of 7 km from the scene.”
