NEWS CENTER- Pointing out that there is no strategic change in the position of international forces in the region, SDF stated that they are investigating the threats made by Turkey to destabilize the region.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center made a statement regarding the threats of attack by AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan against Northern and Eastern Syria (Rojava).

The statement of the SDF is as follows: “There is no change in the strategic positions of the guarantor forces in Northern and Eastern Syria. The aim of the Turkish state's threats to change the agenda and destabilize the region is to revive ISIS. Our forces investigate the threats of the Turkish state to the smallest detail and share the information they obtain with the international guarantor countries.”

In his statement after the Cabinet Meeting held today, Erdoğan threatened to invade Northern and Eastern Syria on the grounds that it provides “logistics” and “financing” through Sweden and Finland, whose NATO membership process continues.
