The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 392. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Mother and son came to the Urfa courthouse from their home, 42 kilometers away from the courthouse hung their banner on the wall and started the sit-in for the day.
Şenyaşar family tells the people and the lawyers entering the court house about what they have been through. Breaking their fast in front of the courthouse for the last two days, the mother and son tagged Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ and AKP's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and said: "Islam is solidarity. Ramadan is to share. We call on the authorities that protects the superiors to have some conscience. This is nothing else but tyranny."
