BATMAN - The kidneys of ill prisoner Fırat Nebioğlu, for whom the Forensic Medicine Institute gave a report that he could remain in prison, failing. Nebioğlu is undergoing dialysis treatment.
Fırat Nebioğlu (24) who was arrested in Batman in October 2015, was sentenced to 11 years and 7 months in prison in the lawsuit filed against him on the grounds that he participated in a social protest. During his detention, Nebioğlu was transferred to Batman, Gümüşhane and Elazığ prisons. Nebioğlu was most recently sent to Batman Type T High Security Closed Prison. Nebioğlu, who has been held here for about a year and a half, has health problems such as kidney failure, vision and hearing. Despite his health problems, the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) gave a report that Nebioğlu could "remain in prison" on November 16, 2021. After the decision of the ATK, Nebioğlu's health condition took a turn for the worse. Nebioğlu, who was taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital, was given a report saying that he can not remain in prison on March 7 because of the risk of losing both of his kidneys.
SAME REPORT FROM ATK FOR THE SECOND TIME
Nebioğlu was transferred to Istanbul ATK on March 14 after the report was sent to the prison. Nebioğlu was sent back to the same prison on March 24 after his procedures there. Nebioğlu, who was visited by his family in prison on March 25, shared the information that he was given the report that says he can't remain in prison. Nebioğlu described the ATK process as follows: "When we went to the ATK, only a blood sample was taken without any examination. We were brought right away. They made a decision by only taking a blood sample. Later, they sent the report that I could remain in prison. My kidneys are failing day by day. I have a hard time living. However, this report was given. If anything happens to me, it is the ATK who made this decision without needing to examine me.”
HIS KIDNEYS IS FAILING DAY BY DAY
After 4 days of visiting with his family, Nebioğlu fell ill once and was taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital. Hospital doctors informed the family on March 31 that Nebioğlu's kidneys had failed. It was learned that Nebioğlu is currently undergoing dialysis treatment.
MOTHER: MY SON IS LEFT FOR DEATH
Mother Rahime Nebioğlu stated that ATK is left her son for death. Mother Nebioğlu, who wanted the "persecution" to end, reacted to the ATK's report that her son, whose life is in danger, could "remain in prison". Pointing out that her son lost his kidneys in prison despite all the applications and warnings, Anne Nebioğlu said, "My child was detained unlawfully when he was a child. His illness worsened in prison. He lost his kidneys because no precautions were taken. ATK reported that he could remain in prison twice. What an unscrupulousness."
