URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch, Emine Şenyaşar made a call, "Enough is enough. Release my son."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 379. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar continue their sit-in in front of the courthouse.
Many women coming out of the courthouse visit Emine Şenyaşar. Şenyaşar told those who supported her that one year of the sit-in has passed and said: "My son is in prison. I want my son to be released. They have taken my son hostage, they are not letting him go. We have been staging a sit-in for more than a year in this cold. Let my son be released so that we can end the sit-in."
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Şenyaşar stated that her son is rotting in prison and herself in front of the courthouse, and said, "My husband and my two sons were killed." Showing the photograph of the ambulance stoned in Suruç State Hospital in her hand, Şenyaşar said, "We are waiting for justice. There is no justice in this government. Enough is enough. Release my son."
