Tevgera Azadî Vice Co-Chair Tara Hüseyin evaluated the meeting of Barzani and Erdoğan in Antalya.
SIGNAL OF NEW ATTACKS
Stating that Turkey wants a Kurdish partner while it attacks the Kurds, Tara said: "All the attacks and invasion attempts against Bashur Kurdistan as well as Shengal and Rojava were carried out with the cooperation of the KDP. KDP has been involved in Turkey's plans with Roj and similar forces". Tara Hussein, who said that although Turkey has carried out attacks dozens of times in the past years, these attacks were frustrated by the resistance of the Kurdish people, added, "The people of Bashur took action against Turkey's invasion attempts. However, Turkey, which could not reach its goal with the attacks in the past, wants to achieve its goal this time. Turkey wants to organise an all-out attack on Media Defense Zones, Shengal and Rojava and they know they can not succeed without the help of the Kurds that betrayed Kurds. This is why they are gathering them around KDP."
Tara Hüseyin said, “Nêçirvan Barzani is not the will of our people. Erdoğan treats Barzani as a governor of Turkey. The fact that there were no Kurdistan flags behind them while there was a Turkish flag is an indication of this. Erdoğan means to say that he is the boss. Erdoğan considers Bashur Kurdistan as a province of Turkey. The gains of Kurds are in danger because of Barzani."
PREPERATION FOR INVASION
Underlining that there is an alliance between Turkey and KDP, Tara Hüseyin said: "They see Shengal as a threat. The alternative democratic administration in Shengal doesn't suit them. So is the administration in the Makhmur Camp. Many attacks of Turkey against Shengal and Makhmur was frustrated by the will of the people. These meetings indicates that there is a preperation for an all-out attack and an invasion of these regions. Another important discussion in these meetings was the natural gas. Turkey wants to control the natural gas resources of Bashur. Turkey wants to invade Bashur. However the Kurds in betrayel doesn't see this and support Turkey. Either they don't understand the policies of Erdoğan or they also have an interest in it. Turkey will annihilate the KDP executives the minute it invades Bashur."
Stating that Iran is uncomfortable with the policies of the KDP in line with Turkey along with the Iraqi Regional Government, Tara Hüseyin said: "A few days ago, Iran carried out a missile attack against Hewlér, the capital city of Bashur. The policies pursued by the KDP are against the interests of both Iraq and Iran. This is why they attacked Hewlér. This situation reveals that the policy carried out by the KDP is not in the interests of the people of Bashur, but in the interests of a few families.”
DEMOCRATIC CONFEDERALISM
Noting that diplomacy should be conducted with the Iraqi central government in order to establish peace and tranquility in the Federated Kurdistan Region, Tara Hüseyin said that a system such as democratic confederalism should be built in line with the interests of both the Iraqi people and the citizens living in the Federated Kurdistan Region.
