DİYARBAKIR - Relatives of the disappeared are commemorating Özgür Gündem newspaper reporter Nazım Babaoğlu, who was forced into disappearance in 1994, in the 683rd week of their demonstrations.
Relatives of those who were disappeared under custody and who were victims of unsolved murders and the Human Rights Association (İHD) Diyarbakır Branch managers gathered in front of the Right to Life Monument in Koşuyolu Park in Diyarbakır, to once again say "Let the disappeared people be found, let the perpetrators be prosecuted" with their demonstrations reaching the 683th week.
In the demonstrations where the banner "Let the disappeared people be found, let the perpetrators be prosecuted" was unveiled, the people carried photographs of their lost relatives.
Relatives of the disappeared, many human rights defenders and Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) members and executives are commemorating Özgür Gündem newspaper reporter Nazım Babaoğlu, who was detained on March 2, 1994 and disappeared.
