URFA - Continuing their pursuit for justice for 367 days, Şenyaşar family said: "We started this sit-in alone. We will be millions tomorrow. We will win against the law of the superiors"
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 367. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Mother and son arrived at the court house early in the morning to start the sit-in for the day. Şenyaşar family hung a banner, written, "They killed my husband and two sons in a hospital! No one was arrested. My other son was arrested and put in solitary confinement for the last 4 years. I want immediate release of my son. Justice for Şenyaşar family, justice for everyone!"
The family shared the following from their Twitter account along with a photo taken yesterday at the first year anniversary of the sit-in: "We started the sit-in with human's rights defenders yesterday. Today, Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) Head and the the heads of the local bar associations will join us. We started alone, we will be millions tomorrow. We want justice enough to die for it. We will win against the law of the superiors."

It is expected that the President of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) Erinç Sağkan and the heads of the regional bar associations accompanying him will visit the family at 12.30 and make a statement.
