DİYARBAKIR - Scores were detained as a result of the raids carried out by the police in Diyarbakır. Halise Aksoy, mother of Agit İpek whose bones were sent to her mother in a container from the post office was also raided.
A large number of houses were raid by the police early this morning in Diyarbakır and scores were detained. However no information has been obtained about the names of the people who were detained.
'IS YOUR MOTHER READING THESE BOOKS?'
The house of Halise Aksoy, mother of HPG member Agit İpek was also raided. İpek was killed in an armed conflict in Dersim back in 2017. His bones were sent to her mother via post in a container. Searching the house even though Aksoy was not at home at the time, the police stormed the house and asked her daughter if Aksoy lives alone, if anyone is visiting the house regularly and if she was the ones who reads the books they found.
THEY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT AGİT İPEK
Aksoy's daughter who told that she was questioned about her dead brother Agit İpek, said: "I told them the government sent his bones in a box and they should know about it."
Storming the house for at least an hour, damaging the property, the police confiscated some books and a letter sent to Halise Aksoy from prison on Mother's Day.
