According to the news reported by the Syrian state agency SANA, warplanes affiliated with the Israeli army targeted the capital Damascus over Lebanese airspace. The agency also shared the information that air defense systems responded to the attacks.
Local sources noted that the Syrian cities of Latakia, Homs and Quneitra were also targets of the attacks.
No information has yet been shared on whether there were any deaths or injuries as a result of the attacks.
