Tekay was released two hours later.

Our reporter Lezgin Tekay who came to Ankara from Urfa was abducted by 5 men at the bus station. Tekay who came to Ankara to visit his family, messaged his colleagues and told them he was detained. Tekay who was detained by these men for two hours, was released before being processed at the police station.

Informing the Mesopotamia Agency after he was released, Tekay said he was forced into a white vehicle that did not have a licence plate number and the people who said they were MİT (National Intelligence Agency)  officers asked him about a few names and offered him to 'work with them'.

Tekay who was not processed at the police station was released in Dikmen district two hours later. Tekay was harassed by some people who also claimed that they were intelligence officers, who called him continuesly in 2019 while he was distributing Yeni Yaşam Newspaper.

Many people, right defenders, journalists, politicians and activists in Ankara have been abducted by the police or intelligence officers who did not show any I.D in the recent years.
