ANKARA- The trial, which was planned to be held on May 3, was postponed to 18 May, with the decision to continue the detention of the detained politicians in the Kobanê Case.
The hearing of the Kobanê Trial, in which 108 people, 28 of whom were currently behind bars, including Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş, former Co-Chairs of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), were put on trial, was postponed to 18 May.
The court committee, which did not give an interim decision regarding the detention investigation at the hearing of the Kobanê Trial held on April 26, decided to continue the detention of the arrested politicians on grounds that the defendants were in flight risk.The court decided to postpone the next hearing, which is expected to be held on May 3, due to the circular of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) on "lock down" measures.
