NEWS CENTER - Iraqi State of Law Coalition Parliamentarian Akil Fetlawi stated that Iraq did not take sufficient steps against Turkish attacks that violated its sovereignty.

Turkey's attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region are increasing. While the annexation definition is being made for the attacks in which intense military deployment continues, Iraq's lack of adequate reaction to the issue is one of the most criticized issues.

Commenting on Rojnews in this context, State of Law Coalition Parliamentarian Akil Fetlawi stated that Turkey's attacks are against Iraq's sovereignty and that this is a violation.

Akil Fetlawi said: “This issue must be discussed with security officials and the ministers of defense and interior. However, this has still not been done. The Kurdistan Region government does not allow the Iraqi army and Iraqi forces to go to these regions to control the country's borders. This weakens Iraq's power against Turkey.”

Stating that the people reacted to Turkey's attacks on Iraqi territory, Akil Fetlawi emphasized that the Iraqi parliament members did not take serious and correct steps against the attacks that violate Iraq's sovereignty.
