Attack on sanitarians in Amed

AMED – Relatives of patients attacked sanitarians at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine.

 
The patient, who was hospitalized in the Hematology Department at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Amed with a diagnosis of lymphoma, was taken to intensive care due to loss of consciousness and deterioration of their general condition. The patient, who lost consciousness when they was admitted to intensive care and could not breathe sufficiently without oxygen support, died due to the heart's failure to continue pumping and stopping due to respiratory failure.
 
After the death, the patient's relatives broke the intensive care unit door and attacked the staff and nurses. Nurses and medical personnel were slightly injured in the attack.
