Turkey establishes checkpoint in Duhok

NEWS CENTER - Voice of America filmed the checkpoint established by Turkey in the countryside of the KDP-administered city of Duhok.
 
Journalist Kawa Omer from Voice of America photographed the area where the checkpoints are located in the countryside of Duhok city of Turkey's Federated Kurdistan Region. It was stated that Turkish soldiers established a checkpoint in the region under the control of KDP and carried out identity checks. In the news, it was noted that Turkey entered 35 kilometers and the villages in the region were negatively affected by the attacks.
 
Additionally, a leaflet distributed by soldiers at the checkpoint was included in the news. The statement included the following statements in Kurdish and Turkish: "We apologize for wasting your time by stopping you during your journey. With your support, we will make the region safer. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to your support."
