URFA - CHP MP Ali Şeker, who opposes men who want to vote instead of women, was attacked in Riha.
 
CHP Istanbul MP Ali Şeker, who visited the ballot boxes set up in the rural neighborhood of Karaali in the Eyyübiye district of Riha(Urfa), detected mass voting. According to the information obtained; men in the neighborhood wanted to vote instead of women. Stating that this situation is not legal and women should go to the polls, Şeker and the CHP observer were attacked by a group of 15-20 people. Şeker, who had a blow to his nose, was taken to the hospital. The gendarmerie, who came to the scene, drove the attacker group away from the scene.

In the Yazlıca rural neighborhood of the Akçakale district, ballot box officials from the CHP, who opposed voting, were also attacked. Lawyer Ronahi Paydaş, a member of the CHP Urfa Provincial Presidency Law Commission, shared on his social media account about the incident: “We are in the rural neighborhood of Akçakale Yazlıca, one of the regions we are assigned to. While preventing mass voting here, both we and our polling officers were attacked, threatened and insulted. We left the village to file a criminal complaint and complaint, since we do not have security of life at the moment.
