BAN TO MEETINGS

No positive or negative response is given to the applications made by the lawyers twice a week. Abdullah Öcalan, who made the first use of his right to make phone calls on April 27, 2020, was made to talk to his brother Mehmet Öcalan on the phone again on March 25, 2021, following the growing public concerns after some allegations in the social media. This phone call was also interrupted. Since then, there has been no news from Abdullah Öcalan.

On the other hand, Rezan Sarıca and Nevroz Uysal, two of Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers, last met with their clients on May 2-22, June 12-18 and August 7, 2019, after 8 years. Lawyers have not been allowed to meet with their clients since then.
