Kirkuk elections statement from PUK

NEWS CENTER – PUK announced that the KDP did not respond to their call for Kurds to enter the elections in Kirkuk with a single list.
 
Speaking to the PUK media, PUK Kirkuk Politburo Officer Rewend Mela Mehmud stated that they want the Kurds to participate in the parliamentary and provincial council elections to be held in Kirkuk with a single list.
 
Continuing his speech, Rewend said that as the PUK, they are expected to meet with the political parties and parties in Kirkuk in the coming days, but the KDP has not taken any steps in this regard so far.
 
Finally, Rewend continued his words as follows; “If all Kurdish parties participate in the elections with a single list, the Kurds will be able to get the majority of the seats by reaching the required majority of votes.”
