AĞRI - Ağrı Bar Association's report on the violations of rights in Patnos Type L Prison included the words of the violations of rights of the prisoners.
 
Agirî Bar Association Prison and Torture Prevention Commission has announced its quarterly report on Patnos L Type Prison. It was stated that the report, which was recorded at the request of the detainees and their families, was prepared on the basis of the information obtained from the detainee, their relatives, documents recorded in letters and faxes.
 
VIOLATIONS
 
In the continuation of the report, the increasing violations of rights in Patnos Prison are listed as follows:
 
“*Arbitrary disciplinary investigations have been initiated,
 
*High electricity bills,
 
* The food served in the prison is so bad that it cannot be eaten,
 
*There is a water problem in the prison, there are 4 bathroom cabins in the 25-person wards, hot water is given for 1 hour every two days for the prisoners to take a bath, the hot water is cut off in more than half of the ward before they can take a shower, they are given water every day in the first times in the ready-made water application, but in the last They are given water every other day in weeks, the amount of water given every two days is about 2-3 liters, the mains water used for washing is very dirty, there are many foreign objects such as insects, clover, stones, mud from the mains water,
 
*Delivery requests are not accepted,
 
* Petitions written by prisoners are not processed,
 
*Computer printouts and handwriting works and books were seized during the ward raids,
 
* Arbitrary calls become continuous and frequent,
 
*Many prisoners could not benefit from probation despite the fact that their execution fell below one year.”
 
SUGGESTIONS
 
The following recommendations of the Agirî Bar Association were included in the conclusion of the report:
 
“* Ending the violations of rights and fulfilling the positive obligations of the administration,
 
* Ending the torture practices and immediately launching an effective investigation against those who torture prisoners,
 
* Ending the isolation of prisoners
 
* Preventing violations of rights in prison,
 
* Providing prisoners with the right to prompt medical care and a healthy life,
 
* End the confiscation of reading and writing materials,
 
*The execution of seriously ill prisoners should be postponed and other ill prisoners should be able to exercise their right to health.
