Police arrested for dragging women into prostitution

ANKARA - Police officer G.K., who threatened to drag women into prostitution, was arrested by the court.
 
It was revealed that the police officer G.K., who is assigned to the Ankara Police Department Sensitive Areas Protection Branch Directorate, forced 5 foreign women to prostitution. It was learned that the police, who were detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, confiscated the passports of the women who were forced into prostitution and threatened them with the following words: "If you don't work as prostitute here, I won't let you live in here, you will  ask to me for living in here."

Police G.K.with M.E., H.M., A.Z., S.K. and M.S., who helped the police, were also detained as part of the investigation. Police G.K. and A.Z., H.M. and M.E. were arrested by the Ankara 2nd Criminal Court of Peace, and sent to prison. Located outside the city, S.K. A judicial control decision was made against him. M.S., who is stated to be a foreigner. was released by the Attorney General.
 
It was stated that police G.K., who denied the accusations, was a gang leader and that he had forced women into prostitution through WhatsApp messages.
