DİYARBAKIR - Relatives of the prisoners, who came together in front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse, criticized the political parties that remained silent despite their applications and said: "There should be no dead prisoners in prisons."

The Justice Watch, initiated by the families for the release of the ill and prisoners who are held despite they served their sentence, continued in front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse on its 268th day. Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Co-chair Gülistan Atasoy, Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER), Aid, Solidarity, Unity and Culture Association for Families Losing Their Relatives in the Cradle of Civilizations (MEBYA-DER) and Members and administrators of Assistance with the Families of Detainees and Convicts (TUAY-DER) also supported.

‘WHY IS NO ONE HEARING US?’

Reşahat Ada, the older sister of Hamdusena Ada, who is being held in Diyarbakır Type T Prison No. 2, stated that their search for justice has been going on for 9 months and addressed President Erdoğan and Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ, and asked: "Why does no one hear us?", “Why are our children being exiled, why are ill prisoners not being released, why are they in prison despite they served sentence?, Where are the political parties?, we applied to all of them. No one gave support, did not hear our voices. Seriously ill prisoners should be released. We will continue to call the demand for justice every day. We will not accept them. Our struggle will continue until the prisoners are freed."
