Sarısözen: They will betrap Turkey with the Syrian attack

ISTANBUL - Stating at the Madrid summit that Turkey was captured and positioned against Russia, Journalist-writer Veysi Sarısözen said: "Turkey's attack plan against Syria could be a trap of NATO.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's threats to attack Northern and Eastern Syria continue. Erdogan, who gave the signals of attack on May 31, said that they may enter suddenly one night, so he is holding diplomatic contacts regarding the attack he is aiming for. Bringing the issue to the NATO summit in Madrid, Spain, on June 29, Erdoğan will pay a visit to Iran on July 19. It is expected that there will be a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Erdogan and the Iranian President during this visit, where the Syria agenda will also be discussed.

Journalist-writer Veysi Sarısözen evaluated Turkey's NATO summit, the possible attack plan towards Northern and Eastern Syria, and the recently changing power equation in the region.

NATO SUMMIT: TURKEY WAS TAKEN OVER

Stating that Turkey has taken serious opportunities in foreign policy by using Russia and NATO relations, known as the eastern and western bloc for many years, Sarısözen said: "With the NATO summit held between June 28-30, this opportunistic policy of Turkey is ended. Turkey is officially positioned against Russia, while Turkey has been in Madrid summit, so Turkey was taken over. In fact, this statement is that NATO has declared war on Russia, and therefore on China, and even on Iran to a certain extent. Turkey is a signatory under this statement. This means that Turkey officially participated in this war on the side of NATO."

OPERATION IS A TRAP

Pointing out that the United States may be behind Erdogan's threats against Northern and Eastern Syria, Sarısözen said: "If NATO encouraged Turkey to enter there, it would be a great provocation that could lead Turkey to join the 3rd World War with its own soldiers, not officially but actually. With this attack, Turkey comes face to face with the Syrian state, Rojava forces and indirectly with Russia. With this attempted attack, they will fall Turkey into a dangerous trap.

TURKEY HESITATES ABOUT ATTACKS

Conveying the activity and possible developments in the region after the attack signal, Sarısözen said: “After these threats by Turkey, the people of Rojava united, a state of emergency was declared and very strongly declared that they were ready for war. On the other hand, Russia made the necessary words not to carry out such an attack on Turkey, and more interestingly, the Damascus regime and the Syrian state showed its tendency to act together with the Rojava forces against such an attack, so the possibilities of the Turkish state are limited. Most likely they hesitate because as soon as Russia closes its airspace,  the forces of Rojava can fight easily with the land armies of Turkey.”

ERDOĞAN'S POSSIBLE MOVES

Stating that the attacks against Rojava could be prevented if the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Damascus government act together, Sarısözen said: “If there is a total attack, it means doomsday. It will have to clash with both Russia and the Damascus governments. But Erdogan can also do like this. Erdoğan may go to the borders of Tel Rıfat and plants a Turkish flag in a village. Then Erdoğan makes propaganda as an election investment like he took over all of Rojava or it can happen that he may not make any movements."

THE "THIRD WAY" OPTION OF THE KURDS

Emphasizing the importance of the "third way" strategy that the revolutionary forces in Rojava have pursued since the beginning of the Syrian civil war, Sarısözen said: "The Kurdish freedom movement is neither a friend nor an enemy of Russia and America. The Kurdish people are fighting to protect their homeland and to ensure that the existence of the Kurdish people is recognized. Therefore, Kurds talk to both Damascus and Russia for negotiation, and also they talk to both the Americans and the Europeans. In short, the diplomacy of the Kurdish people is the 'third way' diplomacy. The Kurds are in constant contact with all states to take steps for the interest of the Kurdish people,  the peoples of the Middle East and world peace.”

THE THIRD WAY IS THE WAY OF ÖCALAN

Stating The "third way" is the way of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Sarısözen said: "This is why this 'third way' policy is extraordinarily important and we will see its importance in the coming period. The third world war is against the peoples of the world. There is already talk of the food and oil crisis. Inflation is galloping in all countries. You will see that after a while, the Kurdish Movement in all parts, PKK, PYD, YPG will all become alternatives for the peoples of the world because these peoples will suffer from this war and step by step they will resort to this 'Third way'. I think it would be best to emphasize the third way rather than diplomatic maneuvers."

IRAQ CAN BE DISINTEGRATED

Emphasizing that the KDP's partnership with Turkey will cause serious harm to itself, and Irag can be disintegrated. There is a very high possibility that 'South Kurdistan' will be surrendered to Turkey by NATO in a move by Turkey in its attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria. The main reason for this initiative will be NATO's attempt to take control of the oil fields in the region."

THE SOUTH OF KURDISTAN IS IN DANGER

Sarısözen said: “The national unity of the Kurds is so important now that it is the only way to reverse the internal betrayal. The Kurdish people should see this because South Kurdistan may be shattered. Some of them may fall into the hands of Turks affiliated with NATO forces. The Turks can take the last steps to bring South under their control. They can do anything to seize the Kurdistan oil. Barzani opposes Kurdish national unity with the steps he takes, South's future will be in great danger. This crisis in South is a candidate to shatter the entire Iraqi State. Therefore, now Rojava means PKK struggle in Bakur Kurdistan, guerrillas fighting against the Turkish state in Iraq are the only guarantees for the future of the Kurdish people in the Middle East, so the Kurdish people should be united. Despite Turkey's attacks and NATO's plans, the Kurds will not remain without status in the new century."
