46 LGBTI individuals detained at Pride Parade, released

ANKARA - 46 people detained yesterday in Ankara during the Pride Parade were released.
 
46 people were detained in the intervention to the 2nd Pride Parade in Ankara yesterday. The 46 people detained were charged with 'opposing the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911". 46 people were released after their statements were taken at the Ankara Security Directorate Security Branch.
 
It has been learned that the detainees will file a complaint with the assault report they received following the police violence they were subjected to.
