21 journalist detaine

DİYARBAKIR - Number of the journalist detained in Diyarbakır increased to 21. Journalist Mehmet Ali Ertaş was handcuffed for 10 hours.

The number of journalists detained as part of the operation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is increasing. During the house raids carried out in the morning, Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) Co-chair Serdar Altan, JINNEWS Director Safiye Alagaş, JINNEWS editor Gülşen Koçuk, Mesopotamia Agency (MA) editor Aziz Oruç and journalists Ömer Çelik, Suat Doğuhan, Ramazan Geciken, Esmer Tunç, Neşe Toprak , Zeynel Abidin Bulut, Mazlum Doğan Güler, Mehmet Şahin, Elif Üngür, İbrahim Koyuncu, Remziye Temel, Mehmet Yalçın and Abdurrahman Öncü were detained. Again, Feynaz Koçuk was detained in Istanbul as part of the same investigation.

JOURNALIST HELD WAITING IN HANDCUFFS FOR 10 HOURS

Mehmet Ali Ertaş was also detained during the house raids in Diyarbakır. It was learned that the police  is still searching the place where Ertaş was staying and held him waiting in handcuffs for 10 hours.

AKDENİZ AND BAYRAM DETAINED

Journalists Lezgin Akdeniz and Kadir Bayram were also detained. It is not known under which investigation the journalists were detained.

It is stated that the number of people detained may increase.
