ADANA - Ten people were taken into custody during house raids carried out on June 6 in the scope of an investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Adana province in southern Turkey.
The detainees were subject to legal action on the grounds that they had joined public events as a child between 2013 and 2016. After the finalization of procedures at the police department, the detainees were referred to court. While seven of them were remanded in custody for alleged “membership to an illegal organization”, three were placed under house arrest.
