ANKARA – HDP MYK, stating that those who are responsible for the ISIS attacks againsts Maxmur Camp is those who allow the attacks against the Kurds, said: "This attack gives clues that the sleeping ISIS cells can take an organized action."

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Committee (MYK) made a written statement regarding the ISIS attack on Maxmur Camp. The statement said: "Yesterday afternoon, there was an intense ISIS attack on the Maxmur Camp, which was embargoed by the Kurdistan Regional Government and threatened by the AKP government from time to time. While one person was killed in the attacks, 3 people were injured."

The statement continued: "As a result of the effective struggle of SDF against this brutal organization, which has been great trouble for humanity, especially in North and East Syria, ISIS has come to life with the invasion attempt towards North and East Syria. ISIS's attack on Maxmur is aimed at paying their debt to the powers that have resurrected them. ISIS 'Maxmur attack is a targeted attack instructed by these forces, just like its attack on Kobanê years ago. This attack is also a revenge attack on the Kurds that ISIS sees as an obstacle to spread to the world."

"those who are responsible for the ISIS attacks againsts Maxmur Camp is those who allow the attacks against the Kurds. We condemn these attacks against the people of Maxmur who fleed from the oppression in Turkey and settled for a life in the middle of the desert. This attack gives clues that sleeping ISIS cells can act in an organized manner. We call on all segments struggling against ISIS to focus on fighting ISIS again, to take the necessary steps before this organization gets more strong and restarts its brutality."
