URFA - Çiçek Kobanê, who came to the agenda of the world with images of the moments of torture when she was caught, is not being treated in prison. Vahide Temo said that her daughter is not able to meet her basic needs.
Turkey launched an operation against North and East Syria on October 9 with the paramilitary groups they gathered under the name 'Syrian National Army' (SMO). Dozgin Temo (Çiçek Kobané) was detained by SMO members on October 21 in Eyn İsa. The footage of Kobané being tortured while she was injured got reactions from all around the world. Kobané who was taken to Urfa Security Directorate was arrested with the accusation of 'being a member to a terrorist organization' and was put in Urfa No 2 Type T Prison.
Kobané's mother who have been worried about her daughter's life for a long time, was finally able to see her daughter in prison. Temo who stated that the traces of torture are still visible in her daughter's body, said she was not being treated and she had serious swelling on her legs and arms.
Temo who stated that she was finally able to see her daughter in the open visit, said: "I understood that she was tortured the minute I saw her. She told me that they tried to strangle her and she lost consciousness for a while. Temo recalling that her daughter was arrested before her treatment is over, said: "She was injured from her leg in two different places. She can't move her leg or eat. The medication doctor prescribed for her is finished and she says they were not refilled even though she made an application to the prison administration." Temo stating that because of the swelling on her legs and arms she can't meet her basic needs, demanded her daughter to be treated.
