URFA - Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin announced that he was appointed as a district governer to Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî. The governer also told that they will establish local law enforcement units for security supervision.
Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Coordinator Deputy Governors, representatives of public institutions and Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî Local Councilors held a meeting in Ceylanpınar Agricultural Enterprises Directorate.
According to the Governorate web site, Governor Abdullah Erin said Turkey has reached its goal in a short time and that drinking water, energy, health, education, infrastructure and superstructure have been provided in Syria and that people are coming back to their homes.
Governor Erin claiming that Turkey is taking action for the life to return to normal in both cities, stated that aid would continue as long as it is needed.
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT WILL BE ESTABLISHED
Erin stating that the local services will be carried out by local councils and that the security will be reinforced by local law enforcement units as well as Turkish Armed Forces and Syrian National Army.
Governer Erin stated that District Governers were appointed to both cities to ensure coordination. Erin also stated that education started in most of the schools in Telabyad and that the they were working in order to make the schools re-serviceable in Rasullayn.
